What a night! It has been 42 years since my last concert, and I couldn’t have asked for a better return to live music.
This performance was everything I didn't know I needed. Intimate, low-key, and packed with incredible music, it spent two full hours sweeping me back through the years—from the days of being a young girl singing along, to raising my own children, and now looking at life as a proud great-grandmother. It’s been decades since I’ve truly felt able to just sit back, breathe, and let go, but every song felt like stepping back into the best memories.
To top off an already unforgettable evening, I got to meet a few of the band members after the show. They couldn't have been more down-to-earth, genuine, and kind.
You gentlemen may never fully realize the depth of what you provided for me up on that stage and in those conversations afterward—it reached places in my heart that needed healing far more than any ordinary words could ever fix. Thank you for the music, the memories, and for giving me back a piece of myself.

He currently records with the group “The Jazz Standard” performing with a multitude of talented solo artists and musicians from all over the world.
Doug Reeder - Lead guitar, Fiddle, Vocals
oug grew up in southern California in a musical family from his dad’s side. All of those relatives, Grandpa, Grandma, Aunts and Uncles were from Texas and Oklahoma and could play several stringed instruments as well as piano. There was always a guitar around the house and his dad would play cowboy and country tunes many evenings after he got home from work. Despite his older brother getting guitar lessons, which didn’t take, Doug found he could figure out songs by ear, so that’s how he learned to play. When his grandma saw he was interested in playing the fiddle she gave him her fiddle and said, “go out behind the barn and play until it sounds like music”.
Beyond the few garage bands, plus a couple of serious bands in High School, Doug decided music was what he wanted to do in life. After high school he moved to the pacific northwest and was in several working bands. Later in life he found himself playing guitar and bass in bands that would travel to western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and all across the USA.
Dave Lee: Keyboards
A pianist/composer residing in Gresham, OR, Dave began his musical journey at the age of 9. Songwriting and exploring other musical styles were early interests. Starting his career in radio broadcasting, music became his full-time profession in 1988. He is a producer and digital recording studio owner that has released several CD projects for himself and others. Dave has been a solo pianist for years, performing at Nordsrom, Riverside Restaurant, and Montgomery Park in Portland, OR to name a few. He has also performed with various bands, including a 3-year stint with country music’s The McKenzie River Band.
